I’m sure we are all enjoying the end of Winter, and Spring blooming flowers everywhere, close on its heels. I’m looking forward to sharing my story, Focus on Survival with a number of Book Clubbers in my hometown, who are already immersed in reading and analysing its contents. More on that, after I have shared with them and answered any further questions they may have.
Recently I have been Guest Speaker at the Rotary Club and appreciated the positive response . I have also been able to get my book now into a number of bookstores in Cowra, Orange, Sydney eg, Canberra and Adelaide. So small beginnings may eventually spread the message about this inspiring story of Ben and Em, two particularly switched on people, ahead of their time in many ways. I am proud to have been part of their lives.
I would especially like to share a post via email, from a lady in the Blue Mountains, who was among the 65 persons who attended my Book Launch, held at the Carrington Hotel there.
“Julie … the only word I keep coming back to is – rich. I find the text rich and I am so sorry if if it sounds in any way insufficient. As I read, I am in the room. I am hearing the words spoken myself. I do have a good imagination but not your ability with expression. Your book is excellent Julie!!!! I am so looking forward to your own personal story unfolding… keep me updated.”
